Today we talked to Mr. Arvind Otta, faculty of Psychology who got UGC JRF in 2013. Mr. Otta discussed some technique and strategies for UGC-NET/JRF aspirants. According to Mr. Arvind Otta, students must follow some following points:
Know the syllabus of CBSE – NET/JRF Psychology. Many students have lots of confusion about syllabus of paper I, II, and III. So start your preparation from knowing your syllabus.
Use some good books, notes to clear your concept but don’t change your books.
Time management is very important. Devote at least 5-6 hour quality time, and try to increase up to 8-10 hours but it does also depend upon the personality of students.
Try to improve your concentration; yoga is a best way to improve concentration.
Follow the mantra of UPS. (U – Understand the theoretical concept, P – Practice them in form of objective question, S – Startle yourself.)
Clear your doubt with the help of your mentor.
Discuss the theory with your mates
Most important thing, reading Psychology must be your hobby.
