National Eligibility Test (NET), also known as UGC NET or NET JRF, is a test to determine eligibility for college and university-level lecturership and for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for candidates. It is a parameter to test the minimum standards required for the entrants in teaching professions and research. From 2018, NTA (National Testing agency) conducting NET JRF Exam online for all subjects including Psychology.
If you are interested in research or teaching in the field of Psychology should totally opt for this exam. NTA UGC NET JRF is conducting two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) in two sessions. Candidates will need to appear for these two papers. Paper 1 is general in nature for all UGC NET aspirants, and Paper 2 is based on the subject selected by the Candidate.
