GATE Psychology Entrance Coaching (XH-C5)

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, and it is a national-level exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) on a rotational basis. The GATE Exam is conducted to assess the aptitude of candidates for admission to postgraduate programs in engineering, technology, and architecture.

GATE Psychology Examination Pattern
The GATE Psychology exam is designed to test your conceptual understanding and analytical ability in the field of Psychology. The total duration of the exam is 3 hours, and it is divided into three sections:

  • General Aptitude (GA) – This section carries 15 marks and includes basic numerical and verbal ability questions to assess your logical reasoning and comprehension skills.
  • Section B1 (Reasoning and Comprehension) – This section carries 25 marks and tests your analytical reasoning, comprehension, and interpretation skills.
  • Psychology Paper (C5) – This is the core section of the exam, carrying 60 marks. It covers a comprehensive range of topics in Psychology, including basic psychological processes, theories, research methods, and applications.
