Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for MA Psychology at SPPU, candidates need to completed their BA /BSc degree in Psychology from a university recognized by the UGC.
Candidates who are in the final year of their bachelor’s can also apply. However, the admission of such candidates is subject to their passing the qualifying examination.
Intakes and Duration
There are total 34 seats for MA Psychology course at SPPU. The duration of MA Psychology program is two (02) years.

The selection of students in the Master’s in Psychology on the basis of merits in the entrance examination.
Exam Pattern of MA Psychology at SPPU

- Total Marks: 100 Marks
- Negative Marking: ¼ Marks for wrong response each
- Duration of Exam: 02 Hours (For both sections)
Section 1 includes the questions related to General Knowledge /Aptitude /Logic /Comprehension, etc., and will carry 20 Marks. Section 2 will consist the questions related to Psychology discipline as per the syllabus and will carry 80 marks. Exam of both sections will be together.

Application Fee
Candidates who belong to the General Category need to make a payment of ₹600/- as the application fee. For candidates who belong to the reserved category have to pay ₹400/- as application fee.
Application Process
To apply online, you need to register as a new user via the link mentioned below. There, you are to register as a new user and login to the admission portal. Once you login, you will have the dashboard interface in front of you. On the left side, you have to click on profile option and start filling the application.
- Firstly, you need to provide your personal information in the application form.
- After providing personal information, you have to provide your academic details.
- In third step, you have to upload all your necessary documents and pay the application fee.

Important Instructions
- Candidates do not need to submit the printout of the application /documents to the university after online submission.
- Incomplete applications will be rejected after the last date of application without assigning any reason.
- Make sure that you are providing accurate information as NO changes will be allowed after the final submission of the application.
- If number of applications are less than intakes, the university reserves the right to admit students without entrance examination.
