Mizoram University (MZU), Aizawl, has invited applications for admission to its MA Clinical Psychology (M.Clin.Psy – RCI) program for the academic session 2026-2028.
Established through an Act of Parliament, Mizoram University became functional on 2 July 2001 and is located in Aizawl, the capital city of Mizoram. The Department of Clinical Psychology of MZU is recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), making its MA Clinical Psychology program RCI-recognized.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for Mizoram University’s MA Clinical Psychology (M.Clin.Psy -RCI) program, candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications from a UGC-recognized university:
- A 4-year BA/BSc degree in Psychology.
- A 4-year BSc degree (B.Clin.Psy) in Clinical Psychology from an RCI-recognized institution.
- A 3-year BA/BSc degree in Psychology, along with successful completion of one year of a Master’s program in Psychology.
- A Master’s degree in any branch of Psychology.
Candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in all qualifying examinations. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category must have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in all qualifying examinations.
Method of Selection and Pattern of Exam
Mizoram University will select candidates through an offline entrance examination consisting of a written test and an interview.

- Number of Questions: 80 MCQs

Based on performance in the entrance examination, Mizoram University will prepare a merit list and shortlist candidates for the Personal Interview/Viva-Voce in a 1:3 ratio, i.e., three candidates will be called for the interview for every available seat.
Interview
- Total Marks: 20
Only candidates shortlisted based on their performance in the entrance examination will be invited to appear for the Personal Interview/Viva-Voce, which is scheduled for 4 August 2026 (Tuesday). Candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:3 ratio (three candidates for every available seat).
Final Merit
The final selection will be based on the candidate’s combined performance in the Entrance Examination (80 marks) and the Personal Interview/Viva-Voce (20 marks), making a total of 100 marks.

Application Process and Fee
Candidates can apply for the MA Clinical Psychology (M.Clin.Psy – RCI) program through the online admission portal of Mizoram University.
