Eligibility Criteria for the PDCP Program

Candidates applying for the PDCP program at BM Institute Ahmedabad must have:

  • MA or MSc degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or Applied Psychology from a UGC-recognized university.
  • Minimum 55% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree for the general category candidates
  • Minimum 50% aggregate marks for candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and OBC categories

Method of Selection for the PDCP Program

Selection to the PDCP program of the BM Institute will be based on the following:

  • Register on the portal using a valid email ID and mobile number.
    • In the Program Type column of the Registration page, select PG (PGDClinical).
    • Fill the rest of the details and submit.
  • Then log in using the credentials obtained during registration.
  • Fill in the online application form carefully with accurate academic and personal details.
  • Upload the required documents as asked in the application form.
  • Pay the application fee through the payment gateway available on the portal.
  • Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference.

Distribution of Seats and Reservation Policy

  • 90% seats are reserved for candidates who obtained their qualifying degree from Gujarat University.
  • 10% seats are reserved for candidates from universities other than Gujarat University, including universities located outside Gujarat.
  • The institute will implement reservations according to the prevailing rules and regulations of the Government of Gujarat, GCAS, and Gujarat University.

Venue and Timing of Examination
