GMA has invited applications in the Prescribed format to apply for the entrance test to take admission in M.Phil in Clinical Psychology course for sessions 2022-24. Further details regarding the admission are mentioned below.

Gwalior Mansik Arogyashala is an autonomous institution under the government of Madhya Pradesh. Gwalior Mansik Arogyashala was established in 1935 as a 30 bedded mental asylum. In 1994 it was renamed from Mental Hospital to Gwalior Mansik Arogyashala. Due to many Public Interest Litigations (PIL) against the hospital’s living conditions, the Supreme Court instructed the state government to transform the hospital into Medical Institution to improve its condition. Till 2001 a 50 Bedded OPD was started in the hospital and in 2015 Hospital started its Drug De-addiction center.

Name of the Course: M.Phil in Clinical Psychology

Number of seats: 08 seats

Eligibility: 

MA/M.Sc Psychology/Applied Psychology of a recognized university with 55% for UR candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates.

Note: IGNOU students having distance mode MA in Psychology are also eligible for admission.

(Final year students can apply, but they must submit proof of having passed the final year PG examination at the time of counseling otherwise, they will not be allowed to appear in counseling and their candidature will be canceled.)

Exam Fee: 

₹1000/- for UR and OBC, ₹500/- for (ST/SC candidates of Madhya Pradesh)

The fee should be submitted as a non-refundable demand draft drawn in favor of the “Director, Gwalior Mansik Arogyashala” payable at Gwalior. It should be enclosed with the application form.

Candidates must enclose self-attached photocopies of the following documents:

• Mark sheet
• Degree certificate
• Cast certificates
• NOC if working
• Two recent passport-size photos, etc.

Application received without application fee or any other relevant documents will not be entertained. Attach check list for the enclosures.

The Candidates must produce the original certificates, mark sheets, testimonials, caste certificates/residential/disability if applicable, etc., and other relevant documents at the time of entrance examination.
