This is a 2-year-based full-time program at SGVU. The Eligibility criteria to apply for this course is a 2-year M.A. /M.Sc. degree in Psychology with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. PhD in Psychology
The duration of PhD Psychology course at SGVU is 3 to 6 years (As per NEP). The Eligibility Criteria to apply for this course is a Master’s Degree in Psychology with a minimum of 60% Marks in aggregate. The number of total seats for PhD department is 60 in which psychology having 2-3 seats. The course fee will be available shortly.
Application Procedure:
The students should visit the Apply Now link and register as New Applicants. After registration, you will get the SID and password in your email. You need to log in with the same login credentials. Then start with your application. After completing the application forms, pay the application fee through an online payment. After paying the Application fee the application procedure will be complete. The Last date to apply for the PhD course is 01st July 2023. Admit Cards should be available from 06th July 2023. Also, the admit card will be available on the email id of the student.
Entrance Exam Pattern for PhD at SGVU
The mode of the entrance examination will be MCQ-type questions. The question paper (paper one) will contain 50% of questions on Research Methodology and 50% of questions related to Psychology. The total marks for the Entrance Test and Interview will be 100. The weightage of the interview session will be 30%. There will be 2 sections of the entrance exam, Research Methodology, and Psychology. The duration of the entrance test will be 3 hours (1.5 for each section).
Entrance Exam Pattern for SGVUEE at SGVU
The duration of this entrance is of 1.5 hours. The admissions will be on the basis of the Entrance Test and Interviews will be 100. The mode of the entrance examination will be MCQ-type questions. There shall be 100 questions containing 100 marks. Also, there will be a negative marking of 0.25 in SGVUEE.
