All major universities are conducting the Entrance Examination to offer admission in MA/MSc Psychology. MA Psychology or M.Sc Psychology is a post-graduate master’s degree. The procedure for admission to MA or M.Sc Psychology entrance varies across colleges/universities.
Many institutions conduct entrance exams for admission. Some colleges conduct online exams while some conduct offline Entrance exams. Based on the results of the exam, interviews are conducted for the short-listed candidates for some exams. You should note that to be eligible for the course, you must complete your graduation. However, it is not necessary for the graduate degree to have a specialization in psychology because of few universities like Delhi University, Jamia Mila Islamia, Ambedkar University Delhi, Savitribai Phule Pune University, BHU also MA Psychology to those students too who are graduate without Psychology Subject.
The pattern of entrance exams also varies from one to another like TISS has a different process. At the 1st Stage of the admission process, TISS conducts a common exam called TISS-NET, and the following sections they covered in the TISS-NET exam: English proficiency, Mathematics, and Logical reasoning, General Awareness(GA).
GATE Psychology exam also includes General Aptitude, Reasoning, and Comprehension with Psychology syllabus in their exam pattern.
