MA Psychology or M.Sc Psychology is a post-graduate degree that allows you to delve deeper into psychology after your graduation. Several colleges across India offer a master's degree in Psychology with different specialisations, including Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Applied Psychology, and Industrial/Organisational Psychology. Some of the IITs offer M.Sc in Cognitive Science.

The process of admission to the MA or M.Sc Psychology entrance exam differs among colleges and universities. Generally, admission to a Master's degree in Psychology in most universities and colleges is based on entrance exams. However, some private or government colleges also accept admission on a merit basis. Based on the results of the entrance exam, the candidates are called for admission. However, some institutes like Christ and Manipal (MAHE) also conduct interviews for the short-listed candidates before final selection.

CUET-PG is conducted by the National Testing Agency which provides a single window opportunity for the students to seek admission in these participating Universities / Institutes across the country for their post-graduate courses including MA/M.Sc Psychology. The CUET-PG exam for Psychology consists of 100 multiple-choice questions, with 75 questions from Psychology and 25 from general aptitude.
