MA Clinical Psychology (RCI) (formerly MPhil Clinical Psychology)

The MA Clinical Psychology (RCI) program at NFSU Delhi and Gandhinagar is a professionally oriented postgraduate course that includes supervised clinical training, psychological assessment, and therapeutic interventions.

This program is particularly important for students who aim to become practicing clinical psychologists in India, as successful completion makes graduates eligible for registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). RCI registration is a mandatory requirement to legally practice as a clinical psychologist in India.

Eligibility Criteria for MA Clinical Psychology (NFSU)

  • Candidates must have completed a 4-year BA/BSc degree in Psychology from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
    • For candidates from SC/ST categories, a minimum aggregate of 50% marks is required as per GoI norms.
  • Candidates who have completed a 3-year undergraduate degree in Psychology are also eligible, provided they have either:
    • successfully completed a 4th-year Bridge Course, or
    • completed the first year of a Master’s degree in Psychology, with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.

Method of Selection for Psychology Programs at NFSU

For the current admission cycle, CUET-PG 2026 scores will be used for shortlisting and preparation of the merit list.
