Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) has started online applications from eligible candidates for admissions to MPhil Clinical Psychology and MSc Forensic Psychology. The applications are invited for the sessions 2024-25 admissions. Before applying for the programs, students should go through the details of the program as mentioned below.
Rashtriya Raksha University is a central university based in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. It is an Institute of National Importance and was formerly known as RSU. RRU offers various undergraduate, post-graduation, Research degree, and professional diploma certificate programs in many disciplines including psychology.
Eligibility Criteria
For M.Phil. Clinical Psychology
Candidates should have completed their MA /MSc in Psychology discipline with not less than 55% marks in aggregate to be eligible for M.Phil. Clinical Psychology Program at RRU.

For MSc Forensic Psychology
To become eligible for MSc Psychology program, candidates need to completed their graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Program Fee (Other than application fee)
- The fee for MSc in Forensic Psychology is ₹1,25,000/- Per Annum.
- The program fee for M.Phil. Clinical Psychology is ₹5,00,000/- Per Annum.
Application Fee
The application fee for MSc Forensic Psychology and M.Phil. Clinical Psychology is ₹2000/- each.
How to Apply?
To apply for the programs at RRU, you have to visit the official website by the link given below. There, you have to register to get the login credentials. Once you log in to the admission portal of RRU, you will have the option of New Application there. You have to click on the option and start providing the details of the program you are applying for (like M.Phil. Clinical Psychology etc.).
- After providing the program information, you will have the option to make the payment of the application fee.
- After making the application fee, you need to go to the Home Page and click the continue button.
- You are to fill all your general information there and be prepared with all your documents i.e. Scanned Copy of Photograph, Signature, Mark Sheets, LC, Degree Certificate, Aadhar Card, Caste Certificate Income Certificate, etc.
- Next, you need to upload all these documents on the portal and submit your applications.
