List of MSc Psychology 2024 courses at NFSU

MSc in Clinical Psychology

The Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Psychology is a 4-semester post-graduate academic program aimed at offering advanced education and training in the field of clinical psychology. To be eligible for this course, candidates should have completed their Arts /Science in Psychology or bachelor’s in science subjects from a recognized university with not less than 55% marks in aggregate. In the case of ST /SC /PwD category, 50% marks are essential.

MSc Clinical Psychology is available at Gandhinagar and Delhi campuses only. There are 50 intakes available at each campus of NFSU. The fee of the course is ₹65.000/- per semester.

The entrance exam for the MSc in Clinical Psychology will be based on General Psychology, Research Methodology, and Statistics.

MSc Neuropsychology

MSc in Neuropsychology is a 4-semester program focused on the study of the relationship between the brain and behavior. To be eligible for this program, it is necessary to complete a BA /BSc in Psychology or science subject from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent. In the case of SC /ST /PwD category, 50% marks are necessary in the bachelor’s program.

The program is offered by NFSU Gandhinagar only. There is a total of 30 seats available for the MSc Neuropsychology program. The fee of the course is ₹65,000/- per semester.

The entrance exam for the MSc in Clinical Psychology will be based on General Psychology, Research Methodology, and Statistics.

MSc in Forensic Psychology

A Master of Science (MSc) in Forensic Psychology is a specialized post-graduate program that looks at how psychology and the law connect. Forensic psychology involves applying psychological principles and research methods to understand various aspects of the legal system, including criminal behavior, law enforcement, the judicial process, and correctional systems.

To be eligible, you need to have finished a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a science-related subject from a recognized university. You should have at least 55% marks overall. SC/ST/PwD category, a 50% mark is required.

This program is available at NFSU Gandhinagar only. There are 40 intakes available at NFSU Gandhinagar for this program. The fee of this program is ₹60,000/- per semester.

The entrance exam for the MSc in Clinical Psychology will be based on General Psychology, Research Methodology, and Statistics.

MA Criminology

MA in Criminology refers to a Master of Arts degree program in the field of Criminology. Criminology is the study of crime, its causes, consequences, and control methods. To be eligible, you need to have finished a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a science-related subject from a recognized university. You should have at least 55% marks overall. If you belong to the SC/ST/PwD category, 50% marks in your Bachelor’s degree are required.

The above-mentioned course is available at NFSU Gandhinagar and NFSU Delhi only. There is a total of 40 intakes available at each campus for MA Criminology. The course fee is ₹60,000/- per semester.

The entrance exam for the MA Criminology program will be based on Criminology, Sociology, Social Psychology, and Social Work-related areas.

How to Apply?

To apply for Admission cum entrance form at NFSU for master’s degree courses, students need to go to the official website using the provided link below. Sign up as a new user by entering necessary information like your email and name, and confirm it with a one-time password (OTP). Once you have your login details, you should choose the course you are interested in studying. The detailed process is provided below.

The stepwise application form process is as mentioned below:

Step 1

In the first step, you need to fill out your personal information like UID, Category, Contact Number, etc.

Step 2

In the second step, you need to provide the information of your communication address.

Step 3

In the third step, you have to provide the information of your qualification and special exam (if any).

Step 4

In the fourth step, you need to upload the Caste Certificate, Marksheet, Signature, Birth Certificate, etc.

Step 5

Before you move on to step five, make sure to get the form by saving the PDF. After you’ve downloaded it, close the little window that pops up. In the fifth step, you’ll see how to pay for the program. Find the “MAKE PAYMENT” button and click on it. This will take you to where you can pay online.
