- 50% for SC/ST candidates (as per GoI norms)
- Candidates who have completed a 3-year bachelor’s degree in Psychology are also eligible, provided they have completed:
- A Fourth-Year Bridge Course, or the First Year of a Master’s Program in Psychology,
- with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

Selection for the MA Clinical Psychology (RCI) program at JSS Medical College is based on performance in the JSS AHER PGCET Entrance Test, followed by a Viva-voce.
- The university prepares a merit list based on candidates’ performance and publishes it on the official JSS AHER website.
- Seats allotted during counselling are considered final.
- In case seats remain vacant after exhausting the entrance test merit list, they may be filled based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- If two or more candidates secure equal marks in the entrance test, their relative merit will be decided based on aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
