Jamia Millia Islamia is a central university in new Delhi, which was originally established in the year 1920 at Aligarh as a small institution and went on to became a university. In 1935 it was shifted to New Delhi, JMI offers education starting from nursery to doctorate, it Offers UG, PG and Doctorate courses in various different fields including psychology. In 1962 UGC declared jamia as deemed to be University. In December 1988 jamia became a Central University by a special act of Parliament. Jamia has been imparting quality education in the field of Psychology. The faculty of Arts was founded in the year 1981.

Eligibility: Candidates need to have BA hons in Psychology with at least 50% marks or graduation degree in any other subject with not less then 55% marks.
Candidates having studied BA/BSc/BCom can also apply provided that they have more than 55% marks in Aggregate.
