| BA/B.Sc with 50% marks in the aggregate. | A candidate having passed B.Sc. (Hons.)/B.Sc. with Psychology as Hons. Subject or a subject studied in all the three years at B.Sc. level or having a graduate degree in Science, Engineering & Technology and Medical Sciences without having studied Psychology at the graduate level course is eligible for admission in M.Sc. Psychology. |
Candidates belonging to the following two broad streams are eligible to get admission in M.A/M.Sc Psychology course:
| Psychology Stream (Group -1) (Intake for this group is of 51 students) | Candidates having B.A./B.Sc. (Hons.) in Psychology under 10+2+3 pattern or having studied Psychology as a subject in all the three years at B.A./B.Sc. level. |
| Non-Psychology Stream (Group -2) (Supernumerary intake for this group is of 7 students) | Candidates having a graduate degree in Science, Engineering & Technology and Medical Sciences without having studied Psychology at the graduate level. |
If a candidate belonging to Psychology Stream (Group 1) takes the Test meant for Non-Psychology Stream (Group -2) or vice versa, he/she would forfeit his/ her candidature for admission to the course. Accordingly, Candidates would be required to carefully mention their stream [Psychology Stream (Group 1)/ Non-Psychology Stream (Group -2)] while filling up the Online Application Form.
