Kateel Ashok Pai Memorial Institute (KAPMI) is an emerging institution affiliated with Kuvempu University and duly recognized by the Government of Karnataka. It is established by Manasa Trust in Shivamogga. The college is committed to providing higher education in the disciplines of humanities and psychology, with the aim of improving individuals’ quality of life. KAPMI offers a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including M.Sc. in Psychology, M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology, and M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology.
M.Sc in Psychology (affiliated with Kuvempu University)
The candidates who had completed or are in the 5th semester of their BA / BSc. In Psychology (Full time / Distance Mode) with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply. The course is affiliated with Kuvempu University. Admission to this course will be through Online Entrance Test. There is a total of 30 intakes in this program.
M.Sc in Clinical Psychology
The candidates who had completed or are in the 5th semester of their Regular BA / BSc. in Psychology with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply. The course is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Admission to this course will be through Entrance Test followed by a Personal Interview that will take place at KAPMI. The total seat intake is 10.
Application Procedure
The candidates shall print out the application form, fill in the required details and send it to the designated address, along with hard copies of class X and the Semester marks sheet. Applications can be submitted either by post or in person. Additionally, applicants are required to submit the payment slip or a photocopy of the challan indicating the payment of the application fee along with their application form. Further information regarding the entrance test and interview session will be communicated to the students in the near future.
