Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) is inviting online applications for various Psychology admissions in the School of Criminology and Behavioural Sciences (SCBS). The applications include MA/M.SC in Forensic Psychology and M Phil Clinical Psychology. Further details regarding the institution and the application are as follows.
Rashtriya Raksha University is a central university based in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. It Is an Institute of National Importance and was formerly known as RSU. The university was reformed under the Parliament Act No. 31 of 2020, It was initially established in the year 2009 by the Government of Gujrat. RRU offers various under-graduation, post-graduation, Research degree, and professional diploma certificate programs in many disciplines. RRU has recently got the license from RCI to provide an M Phil Clinical Psychology course and session 2023 will be their 2nd session.
M.Phil in Clinical Psychology
This is a 2-year full-time-based program and RRU has 12 seats available for the same. The eligibility criteria to apply for this course is a 2 years M.A. /M.Sc. degree in Psychology. The degree should be from an institution with UGC Recognition with at least 55% marks in aggregate. Also, the fee for this course is ₹5,00,000.
MA/M.Sc. in Forensic Psychology
This is also a 2-year full-time-based program and RRU has 20 seats available for the same. The eligibility criteria to apply for this course is B.A./B.Sc./B. Com/ Any other Graduate Degree. Again, the degree should be from an institution with UGC Recognition with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Also, the fee for this course is ₹2,50,000.
Application Procedure of RRU
The candidate should visit the APPLY NOW link and register as a new applicant. After completing the registration process and logging in to the portal add the course that you want to apply for. Now you can start with the application form. The application form includes Personal Details, Contact Details, Parent & Guardian Details, Educational Background and Document Uploading, and the final result status part. To complete the application the candidate should pay the application fees. After paying the Application fee the application procedure will be complete. The Last date to apply for the same is 31st May 2023.
