Online 240 hours Psychology Internship

Our Online 240-hour Psychology Internship is designed to provide a complete learning experience, blending essential theoretical knowledge with practical applications in an online format for Clinical/Counselling and Industrial specialisation.

We are offering this internship in collaboration with Utsaah Psychology Clinic, Paschim Vihar, Delhi, which meets the internship requirements of universities, including IGNOU. It involves learning, understanding, diagnosing, and management skill training as a requirement of the internship program by using a variety of approaches.

There are three parts to the whole internship program:
The first part provides a solid foundation in key concepts needed to navigate clinical, counselling, or Industrial psychology with confidence. Learners start with an introduction to psychotherapy and classification systems such as ICD and DSM, gaining the essential knowledge to understand clinical issues. Learners will also learn how to plan therapeutic sessions and receive focused training in various psychological issues, including:

Mood Disorders
Anxiety disorders
Substance abuse
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
ADHD, etc.

To ensure a well-rounded understanding, the lectures cover practical therapeutic approaches like Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), behavioural therapy, and other psychological interventions.

The second part of the internship focuses on developing assessment skills, where learners learn how to perform Mental State Examinations (MSE), Case History-Taking, and Clinical Interview & Diagnostic Interview Skills.

In the final part, Learners engage in interactive online activities, including role-plays and group discussions, as well as approximately 10 detailed case studies.

Certification

After successfully completing the internship and assessments, you’ll be awarded a Certificate of Completion. This certificate outlines the practical skills you’ve developed and serves as a testament to your dedication and capability.
