Workshop on Various Counseling Skills

The workshop is developed for psychology students, counselors, and mental health professionals to provide them with in-depth conceptual knowledge and practical training in essential areas of counseling skills. Facilitated by an RCI professional in the field, it prepares participants for real-life application in various counseling contexts.

The course focuses on building competencies of participants across a wide range of counseling domains. From working with children and adolescents to older adults, it covers a broad spectrum of the counseling population. Thus, making the program inclusive and crucial for professionals working in diverse settings. The emphasis will be on ethical consideration, developmental needs across life stages, evidence-based practices, counselor-client relationship, and practical communication techniques. Thus, enhancing the professional competence of the participants. There will be live sessions with an interactive PowerPoint presentation, case discussions for each counseling area to gain deeper insight, and a Q&A session for doubt clearance.
