GATE, or the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, is a national-level entrance exam conducted every year by IISc Bangalore and seven IITs on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The exam is held for various subjects in Engineering, Science, Humanities, and now Psychology as well. It tests a candidate’s understanding of the subject at the undergraduate level.
For Psychology students, the paper code is XH-C5, and the exam pattern includes the following sections:
The total marks for the exam are 100, and the total duration is 3 hours (180 minutes). The question types include MCQ, MSQ (Multiple Select Questions), and Numerical Answer Type.
