The workshop is created to enable participants with an in-depth and structured understanding of Mental Status Examination (MSE). It is useful for both psychology students looking to strengthen their understanding and professionals in the field to enhance their clinical approach. The workshop aims to equip participants with the theoretical understanding of the purpose of history taking & MSE, practical real-life application, and clinical interview techniques. The workshop would be led by RCI-registered faculty.
MSE is not only essential for diagnosis but also for planning appropriate interventions, making it a crucial skill for various roles in the field, such as clinical, counseling, and rehabilitation settings. The goal is to facilitate participants in the acquisition of skills necessary to assess, document, and interpret the client’s current psychological functioning. Therefore, building participants' readiness in conducting case history and MSE in various settings. The sessions will be live classes with a PowerPoint presentation, case discussions for better understanding, and a specific doubt-clearing time within the session.
