The Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, Kerala, will begin accepting applications for the MPhil Clinical Psychology 2025 from eligible candidates for the 2025-27 session. IMHANS is an autonomous institution under the Government of Kerala. It is also affiliated with a very well-known university, Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), Kozhikode, Kerala. The Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) recognizes the MPhil Clinical Psychology Course offered by IMHANS.

- Selection will be based on Merit, determined by an Entrance Exam, including a Written Test & an Interview.
- The Exam & Interview will take place in Kozhikode, Kerala.
Exam Pattern
- The Written Exam will include 75 multiple-choice questions.
- The Questions will be based on the UGC NET, especially Research Methodology and Statistics, Psychological Testing, Biological basis of behavior & Human development, and interventions.
- The total time allotted for the exam will be 60 minutes.
- Every wrong answer will result in a loss of 0.25 marks.
- There will be an interview, and the only candidates who get shortlisted will be called in for the interview.
- The final selection of the candidate for the course will be based on the total marks obtained in the Entrance Examination (Written Exam — 75% Marks & Interview — 25% Marks).

Application Procedure & Fee
- To get admission into the MPhil Clinical Psychology program at IMHANS, candidates must visit their official application submission portal.
- Candidates need to select “New Registration” from the side menu to register themselves.
- After that, you need to pay the Application Fee, which is Rs 1500 for the General Category & Rs 1250 for the Reserved Category (ST/SC).
- Applicants can submit the application fee via online mode or by utilizing a challan (Generated online at the time of Registration). Once you submit the application fee, you will receive an application number. Use the application number to log in and complete the application form with further details.
- Then, candidates must read and fill out the form carefully while uploading all the necessary documents.
- Candidates are directed to pay the examination fee only when the university (KUHS) announces the examination. The University/Department/Institute will do a fee structure revision from time to time.
- Students will have to bear the cost of the external postings assigned by the Department/Institute.
