- Master’s degree in Psychology or equivalent from a university recognized by the UGC with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate preferably with special paper in Clinical Psychology.
- For SC/ST/PWD category, minimum of 50% marks aggregate is essential.
- Candidates with M.A./M.Sc. degree by correspondence, part time course or by distance education will not be considered eligible for admission in M.Phil. Clinical Psychology.

Any recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Social work / Psychology / Child Development / Community Resource Management / Development Communication Extension / Nursing / Special Education with minimum of 05 years of experience of working with children.
OR,
B.Ed. from a recognized University with a minimum of 04 years of experience working with children. The candidate must also have studied English (Elective / Core / Functional) (01 paper) at 10+2 level or higher.
