About MZU
Mizoram University was created by an Act of Parliament (No. 8 of 2000) and it became functional from 2nd July, 2001. The University is located in Aizawl, the capital city of Mizoram. The Department of Clinical Psychology of MZU is recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), making its MPhil course RCI-recognized.
Method of Selection
Selection in Mizoram University’s MPhil in Clinical Psychology course will be based on an Offline Entrance Examination, consisting of a Written test & an Interview.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission
- Applicants applying for the course must have an MA/MSc degree in Psychology from a UGC recognized university with a minimum of 55% in aggregate (50% for reserved categories).
Exam Pattern
- The Written Exam will include 80 multiple-choice questions.
- The Questions will be based on the PG Level (MA/MSc) Psychology course.
- The total time allotted for the exam will be 60 minutes.
- Every correct answer will result in 1 mark. There’s NO negative marking.
- There will be an interview, and the only candidates who get shortlisted will be called in for the interview.
- The final selection of the candidate for the course will be based on the total marks obtained in the Entrance Examination (Written Exam — 80 Marks & Interview — 20 Marks).
