The Haryana Public Service Commission often abbreviated as HPSC, is a government agency of Haryana State, established by the Constitution of India. The major function of the HPSC is the recruitment of Group A & B posts of various departments under the Government of Haryana through competitive examinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HPSC Psychology Assistant Professor 2024<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Applications are invited for the post of Assistant Professors (college cadre) Group-B in various subjects including Psychology under the Department of Higher Education, Govt of Haryana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a great opportunity for psychology students who have completed their master\u2019s degree in Psychology. Candidates who qualify for this exam will serve as Assistant Professors and will be considered Group-B employees under the Government of Haryana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ESSENTIALQLIALIFICATION:<\/strong> HPSC Psychology Assistant Professor<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Candidates should meet the following eligibility criteria for the post of Assistant Professor (College Cadre):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. A master\u2019s degree in Psychology with at least 55% from a recognized university.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Knowledge of Hindi\/Sanskrit up to Matric standard or in Higher Education.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    And<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Candidate should have qualified for the NET examination<\/a> conducted by the UGC or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET\/SET. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Or <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil \/ Ph.D Degree) Regulation, 2009 or 2016, and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET\/SLET\/SET.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Exam Pattern<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    A. Screening Test (if Applicable)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. Total number of Questions: 100 MQCs<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Duration of Exam: 02 Hours<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Total Marks: 100<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Each question will be 5 options (A, B, C, D, and E)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Note:<\/strong> If a candidate is attempting a question, she\/he shall have to darken the appropriate circle A, B, C, or D and if not attempting a question then, she\/he shall have to darken the E circle. If none of the five circles is darkened, one-fourth (0.25) mark shall be deducted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      5. Any candidate not darkening any of the five circles in more than 10% of questions shall be disqualified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      6. There will be a negative marking of \u00bc for wrong answers<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      7. The Medium of exam will be in English and Hindi<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
