Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must be a citizen of India to be eligible for these posts.
Assistant Professor
Candidates must satisfy the below-mentioned conditions to be eligible for the Psychology Assistant Professor role-
- Master’s in Psychology with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
- NET / CSIR, or similar exam conducted by UGC OR Ph.D. in accordance with the UGC
OR
- Ph.D. degree obtained from a foreign university with a ranking among the top 500 in the World by any one of the following ranking agencies:
- Quacquarelli Symonds (QS)
- The Times Higher Education
- The Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
Associate Professor
- Ph.D. in relevant disciple
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate.
- At least eight years of teaching and/or research expertise in an academic or research role at a level comparable to Assistant Professor within a University, College, or accredited Research Institution/industry, accompanied by a minimum of seven publications in peer-reviewed journals or those listed by the UGC. Additionally, a combined research score of seventy-five (75) is required.

Age Criteria
- Assistant Professor: 35 years
- Associate Professor: 50 Years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
- OBC Candidates: 3 years
- PwD candidates: 10 Years (for SC/ST: 15 Years. for OBC: 13 Years)
- Government servant: Upto 5 Years
