SGT University Clinical Psychology Admissions 2026

The Department of Clinical Psychology, Faculty of Behavioural Sciences at Shree Gobind Singh Tricentenary (SGT) University, has started accepting the application forms for its Clinical Psychology programs for the academic year of 2026-27. The Rehabilitation Council of India recognizes their programs for meeting the regulatory standards for professional training in clinical psychology.

Eligibility Criteria

For MA Clinical Psychology (RCI)

Applicants must have their Bachelor’s in Psychology (4 Years) or Bachelor’s in Psychology (3 Years) + Master’s (1 Year) in Psychology/Clinical Psychology/Applied Psychology or other relevant specializations from a UGC-recognised university.

  • Minimum 55% aggregate marks for General category candidates
  • Minimum 50% aggregate marks for SC/ST candidates

For Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology (PDCP)

MA/MSc in Psychology from a UGC-recognized university

  • Minimum 55% aggregate marks for General category candidates

For MA Clinical Psychology (RCI)

  • Duration: 2 Years; Full-time course
  • Number of Seats: 10 (Ten)

For Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology (PDCP)

  • Duration: 1 Year; Full-time course
  • Number of Seats: 16 (Sixteen)

Application process

  • To get admission into SGT University’s Clinical Psychology programs, students must visit the university’s online application portal.
  • Once on the portal, students must register themselves and then use those credentials to log in.
  • Then, they need to select the program in which they’re interested, i.e., the MA in Clinical Psychology (RCI) or the Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology (PDCP). They should then fill out the rest of the form according to their selection and carefully upload all the necessary documents.
  • Students then need to pay the application fee of Rs 1500 through the payment gateway at the end of the application form and then submit the form.
