Ranchi University on the behalf of Ranchi Institute of Neuro-Psychiatry & Allied Sciences (RINPAS) has invited applications in the prescribed format to apply for various Post-Graduate Courses including M.Phil Clinical Psychology and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology for taking admission in the academic Session 2023-2025.
RINPAS is a medical institute located in Ranchi, the capital city of the Indian state of Jharkhand. It is considered the second most popular intuitions after the Central Institute of Psychiatry in Jharkhand. RINPAS is an RCI Recognized Institution which means after completing M.Phil Clinical Psychology from here, the students can work as an RCI registered Clinical Psychologists in India.
RINPAS Ranchi Admission Details:
Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology
Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology is a 2 Year course at RINPAS and RINPAS has 4 seats available for the same. The students who have completed a 2-year Diploma/M. Phil in Medical and Social Psychology or Clinical Psychology can apply for the same through the application procedure mentioned below.
M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology
M.Phil Clinical Psychology at RINPAS is also a 2-year regular-based program for which RINPAS has 12 available seats. The Students who have completed an M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology at a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate (as per RCI guidelines) are eligible to apply for the same. Also, RINPAS provides a monthly stipend of ₹ 8,000 to their students of M.Phil Clinical Psychology.

The duly filled application form should reach the below-mentioned address on/before 30th January 2023. The application form should contain a self-attested photocopy of the candidate’s final year mark sheet (P.G. Course/ M.Phil. as applicable) and other relevant documents as well. A Demand draft of the application fees should be attached with the application form drawn in favor of the Registrar, Ranchi University, Ranchi payable at Ranchi. Entrance Test Pattern for RINPAS:
The question paper will consist of 100 multiple-choice type questions based on the prescribed syllabus at the PG level of the University at the National level. 2 (two) marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 (One) mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
