- Minimum aggregate marks required:
- 55% for General Category candidates.
- 50% for SC/SCA/ST/BC/BCM/MBC candidates.
- The Selection Committee may give preference to candidates who have Clinical Psychology as a specialization paper.

Method of Selection and Pattern of Exam
Selection to the MPhil Clinical Psychology program of IMH, Chennai, will be based on the following:
- Entrance Examination, and
- an Interview
The Selection Committee will call candidates who secure at least 50% marks in the entrance examination (40% for reserved categories) for the interview. It will prepare the final merit list based on a composite score, with the entrance examination carrying 60 marks and the interview carrying 40 marks.
